Assessing Chemical Risk Using the Best Scientific Knowledge
Characterizing chemical risk and assessing the impact of human exposure is an area of expertise for SciMetrika. We have supported key federal environmental health programs at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) National Center for Environmental Health (NCEH) and Agency for Toxic Substance and Disease Registry (ATSDR); Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP); National Institute for Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS); and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Building on the depth of our experience in conducting toxicology research for federal agencies, we are now offering our services to commercial clients, including those in the chemical, agribusiness, and consumer services industries. Our services include Risk Assessments, with a focus on systematic Literature Reviews, toxicity profiles, informal literature scans, and computational modeling. We utilize proven and standardized processes to deliver these services. And, we have staff or consultants with doctorate degrees in toxicology, with easy access to a wide range of experts in neurotoxicity, reproductive toxicology, endocrine disruption, immunology, inhalation, and liver toxicity. Clients interested in risk characterization can also benefit from cell-based science services, such as in vitro studies and computational modeling, provided by our sister company, ScitoVation.
